When should I stop using Grow Lights?

Lowering the light intensity helps simulate the natural decrease in sunlight during late summer and early autumn, signaling to the plants that it's time to prepare for dormancy.
A Dimmable Grow Light is particularly helpful in this regard as it allows you to gradually reduce the light intensity over time. Start by lowering the intensity by a small amount and monitor your plants' response. If they continue to thrive, you can further decrease the intensity until eventually stopping the use of grow lights altogether.
When it comes to the grow light spectrum, you may consider adjusting it towards the end of the plant's growth cycle. During the final stages, plants often benefit from a higher ratio of red light, which promotes flower development and ripening. Adjusting the grow light spectrum to provide more red light can help facilitate the final maturation of the fruits or flowers.
As for UV Led Grow Lights, unless you have specific reasons to continue their use during the late stages of plant growth, it's generally safe to discontinue their usage. UV light exposure is not essential for basic plant growth, and excessive exposure can potentially be detrimental to the plants.
